ABOUT MARCELLA

Marcella Pabros-Clark

Marcella Pabros-Clark is founder/creator of Healing Mars and its workshops; and offers collaborative programs through Healing Mars Presents. She is also the co-founder/board member and an original performing artist of Kulintang Arts (aka kularts, see kularts-sf.org)

As a sufferer of autoimmune disease Rheumatoid Arthritis (aka RA), for over 30 years she rejected the prescription drug route of Western conventional/allopathic medicine, choosing instead to navigate through her body’s dis-ease and reactivate its ability to self-heal. Working with rheumatologists, acupuncturists, martial artists, internists, herbologists in the healthcare industry and shamanic rituals, she came to know the wisdom of creating balance in mind, heart, body and spirit.

She assisted and was guided within shamanic journey by her teacher over 10 years, Armand Bytton, who comes from an ancient lineage of Amazonian tribal practices, reconnecting her to the healing power that is innate in us all.  Her first shamanic journey lead her to explore Sound Healing and inspired her to embark on a trip to the Philippines in 2013 with KulArts Tribal Tour to re-connect with her own heritage of healers.

She was blessed with the opportunity via grants, commissions and sponsorships to develop and present her healing story in a series of performance art pieces that allowed her to explore the healing properties of artistic expression. Her solo performance piece, Healing Mars, was performed six times in Pasadena, Los Angeles, Santa Monica, San Francisco, and Sonoma County.

As an interdisciplinary artist she shares her visions via multi-media, her work embraces the audience with visceral theatrical experiences: melding story with interactive movement, sound and song, video, photographic and animated imagery that entertains, informs and educates.

HEALING MARS

THE VISION AND THE WORK

Raising awareness of our innate & unique abilities to heal ourselves and our world by reconnecting & balancing Body, Mind, Heart & Spirit.

  • breath work

  • physical movement,

  • vocal sounding,

This enhances our abilities to unearth, reconnect, embrace and reclaim our personal power to create a way of living that resonates with our whole being.
