Holly Calica is a Clinical Herbalist and Educator, Artist and Dancer. As Co-Founder of Luna Nueva Wellness Collective and Co-Founder of Kalingfornia Laga she crafts projects, weaves ideas, plants creativity and revels in collaborative works uplifting the community.
She is a graduate of the California School of Herbal Studies’ “Roots/Foundations” and “Clinical Training Program,” as well as the dhyana Center’s “Ayurvedic Clinical Foundations” and “Nutrition Program.” Her collaborative focus is to provide holistic integrated care and education in private practice, clinical work and educational forums. She infuses experience from her clinical training and work experience from the West County Forestville Wellness Center, the dhyana Center in Sebastopol and the Community Holistic Clinic in Santa Rosa into her workshop sessions. As a Clinical Herbalist and Educator with the Luna Nueva Wellness Collective she guides others in self-care strategies thorough herbal education, nutrition, movement and bodywork to have balance in a rapidly changing world.
Founder of SankofaAfrica, Keenan Webster was born in Nashville, TN. His love of music deepened as a teenager in Los Angeles, CA, where he began his music studies with master teachers from Africa and Cuba. Surrounded by a highly spiritual family he has spent his life focused on studies of music, religion and history. He is influenced by music giants: John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Taj Mahal, El Hadj Kouyate, Toumani Diabate, Robert Johnson, Slip James, Johnny Shines, Habib, Koite and Keletigue Diabate. The music traditions of Latin America, Sumatra and India, also infiltrate his stle.
